historyGreens was the brainchild of Greg & Eddy. These entrepreneurs believed that a whole foods, vegan restaurant was what was missing in our industrial town. Brynn came on the scene a couple years later. At the time, Greens was simply a stop-over job that would do for the summer. She refused to work in a place that sold chicken wings. Her stop-over turned into over a decade of plant-based cuisine after purchasing Greens one year into her temporary position. She was simply at the right place at the right time.
Greens, a center for friendly conversation and really good wine, thrives in the heart of downtown Sarnia. The restaurant occupies what once was a bank, the remnants of days gone by are still present in the architecture. A community hub with family at it's core, Greens has reimagined old family recipes from the Pearson & the McVeigh family where tradition and food were the beating heart of our family. |
Greens is owned and operated by women. They are the powerhouses behind Greens innovative menu and libations.
As the years go by and Greens has evolved. We went from the weird vegan place to a downtown destination. Plant based isn't just for vegans anymore. |
